Join us for “A Night Under the Stars” and help improve lives today and tomorrow for those with type 1 diabetes (T1D) by accelerating life-changing breakthroughs
to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. Last year’s party with a purpose, a “new twist” on JDRF Northern Florida’s historic gala event, was such a success we’ve decided to do it again! This special engagement will bring philanthropic-minded corporate and prominent citizens together for an evening of impact and fun that will include cocktails, dinner, competitive live and silent auctions, a special mission segment called Fund A Cure, followed by dancing and time with friends, old and new.
Experience “A Night Under the Stars” as we recognize our Honorary Chairs, Sean Hall and Kerri Stewart; Guest Co-Hosts, Nikki Kimbleton and Vic Micolucci; and our Fund A Cure Family, The Fenton's (Carrie, Hank, Mavis, and grandparents John and Monica). JDRF Northern Florida is very grateful for the support from our philanthropic, corporate and family partners contributing to our mission to end type 1 diabetes.
A special thank you to our Committee Chairs Cynthia Gonzalez and Leahan Mayer, who help make our evening run flawlessly behind the scenes. JDRF Northern Florida looks forward to welcoming you to this fun and very special party with a purpose! Please contact Colleen Morris, Development Manager, Greater Jacksonville at CMorris@jdrf.org to learn more about “A Night Under the Stars” sponsorship opportunities, as well as, table and ticket purchases.

JDRF is the leading international nonprofit fighting to cure type 1 diabetes (T1D) while also helping those with T1D live healthy lives today. Supported by hundreds of thousands of donors, JDRF raises, invests and drives more funds to T1D research than any organization in the world. As a result, JDRF has played a key role in major T1D advances – drug, device, cell research – that have improved lives and brought us closer to our ultimate goal of a cure. JDRF is mission-driven and serves as an aggressive advocate and educational support for the T1D community. JDRF has staff and volunteers across the United States, has five international affiliates, funds research in more than 20 countries and supports insulin-aid efforts in the U.S. and around the world.
