2020 is a year unparalleled in JDRF’s history, marking 50 years of progress for JDRF since our founding in 1970 by two moms wanting to find a cure for their children with type 1 diabetes. For 50 years, thanks to community support, we have invested in our critical mission to prevent, treat and cure type 1 diabetes (T1D) and helped create advances benefiting millions today.

2020 also marks the 20^th anniversary of the Jacksonville Miracles Gala, one of the longest-standing successful charitable events in North Florida. This year, in order to best protect the health and wellbeing of our community, we will be bringing the 20^th Jacksonville Miracles Gala to you closer to home as we pivot to a virtual program. We are looking forward to the opportunity to come together, even when we are apart, to raise funds that directly affect the lives of millions affected by T1D.
